Important Note for Connecting Bluetooth Headphones and Earbuds:
Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, and TVs. This prevents your headphones from connecting to the wrong device. Keep your headphones and Avantree transmitter close together.
Quick Check
Step 1️⃣: Put Your Headphones in Pairing Mode
- Your headphones must be in pairing mode, not just turned on.
- If you're not sure how, find your headphone model in our Headphones Pairing Guide and follow the steps to put it into pairing mode.
- Once your headphones are in pairing mode, continue to Step 2.
Step 2️⃣: Put the Avantree Transmitter in Pairing Mode
- Pairing steps vary by transmitter model.
- Check your transmitter model, then search for it on the Avantree Support website to find the pairing steps.
- Once your transmitter is in pairing mode, continue to Step 3.
Step 3️⃣: Wait for Them to Connect
- Keep both devices close together and wait 5–10 seconds.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth light will usually become steady, and you may hear “Connected” through your headphones. Play something on your device to test the sound.
Still not connecting? Reset Both Devices
Reset or clear the pairing history on both your headphones and Avantree transmitter, then try pairing them again. Refer to the reset instructions for your exact headphone model and exact Avantree transmitter model.
💡 Tip: If your headphones keep connecting to your phone instead of the Avantree transmitter, turn Bluetooth OFF on your phone and try again.
