Update Your Avantree Firmware on Mac
Follow the pictures one step at a time. Click Next Step after completing each instruction. Only one step is displayed at a time.
Step 1: Download Avantree Updater
Download the Avantree Updater application for your Mac.
DOWNLOAD AVANTREE UPDATERStep 2: Install the Application
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file, then drag Avantree Updater into the Applications folder.
Step 3: Allow the App to Run
Open Avantree Updater. If macOS blocks the application, open your Mac's Privacy & Security settings and follow the prompts to allow it.
Step 4: Open Avantree Updater
Go to Applications and open Avantree Updater.
Step 5: Connect Your Device
Connect your Avantree device to the Mac using a USB data cable. Put the device into DFU mode using its product-specific firmware instructions.
Step 6: Select the Firmware File
When Avantree Updater detects your device, click Next. Browse to the .dfu firmware file downloaded for your exact product and select it.
Step 7: Finish the Update
Follow the updater's on-screen instructions. Wait until it confirms the firmware update has completed successfully.
Only then disconnect the USB cable, restart your Avantree device if required, and test it.
