Aria 90B – How to Use with a PC for Calls

Follow these steps to use your headphones and microphone for Zoom, Teams, Skype, and other computer calls.

Before You Start: Make sure your headphones are charged and the included USB dongle is ready.

Step 1 – Connect Your Headphones to the Computer

  1. Plug the included USB dongle into your computer's USB port.
  2. Turn ON your Aria 90B headphones.
  3. Wait for the headphones and USB dongle to connect automatically.

Good to Know: You do not need to pair the headphones through your computer's Bluetooth settings when using the included USB dongle.

Step 2 – Select the Headphones in Your Computer Settings

Set the Avantree USB headset as both your speaker and microphone.

Windows 10 / 11

  1. Open Settings → System → Sound.
  2. Under Output, select the Avantree USB headset.
  3. Under Input, select the Avantree USB headset microphone.

Mac

  1. Open System Settings → Sound.
  2. Under Output, select the Avantree USB headset.
  3. Under Input, select the Avantree USB headset microphone.

The headset name may appear as DG10 or USB Audio Device, depending on your computer.

Step 3 – Check Zoom, Teams, or Skype Settings

  1. Open your meeting app.
  2. Go to Settings → Audio or Devices.
  3. Select the Avantree USB headset for both Speaker and Microphone.
  4. Use the app's microphone or test-call feature to check that others can hear you.

Important: Close other calling apps, such as FaceTime or Skype, that may also be using your microphone.

Step 4 – Check Your Microphone Mute Switch

Check the mute switch on your boom microphone before starting a call.

RED dot visible: Microphone is MUTED.

No RED dot: Microphone is UNMUTED.

The physical mute switch may not change the mute icon shown in your meeting app.

Others Can't Hear You?
  1. Make sure the microphone is not muted on the headphones or in the meeting app.
  2. Check that the correct microphone is selected in your computer and meeting app.
  3. Unplug and reconnect the USB dongle.
  4. Restart the meeting app and test again.

Can't Answer or End Calls Using the Headphone Buttons?

The headphone call-control buttons do not control Zoom, Skype, or Teams calls on your computer. Use the controls in your meeting app instead.
