Earbuds occasionally require cleaning as earwax, flakes of skin, and various debris build up over time. Clean them regularly (once every few months) to avoid muffled sound issues.
1.1 Use a dry cotton swab to wipe out the inside of the earbuds and remove any dirt.
1.2 Use a small brush (a clean, dry toothbrush works also) to clean the inside of the earbuds further.
Do not use rubbing alcohol, soap, or other cleaners, and avoid any type of moisture around the earbuds when cleaning, as this can potentially damage the earbuds.
