Repose – How to Use with an Avantree Transmitter

Pair your Repose earbuds with an Avantree Bluetooth transmitter for TV listening.

Compatible examples: Oasis Plus, Audikast Plus, and Orbit.

Step 1 – Connect the Transmitter to Your TV

Use one available TV audio connection. If your TV has Optical, we recommend using it.

Optical / Digital Audio OUT – Recommended
AUX / Headphone OUT
Red & White RCA AUDIO OUT

Step 2 – Put the Transmitter in Pairing Mode

Turn on the transmitter and put it into Bluetooth pairing mode. The button and indicator vary by transmitter model, so check its user guide if needed.

Step 3 – Put Repose in Pairing Mode

Turn on Repose, then press and hold PAIR until the indicator starts flashing.

Flashing RED & BLUE = Pairing mode

Keep Repose close to the transmitter while they connect.

Step 4 – Set Your TV Audio

Using Optical: Set your TV’s Digital Audio Format to PCM / Stereo. Do not use Dolby, DTS, or another unsupported digital format.

Using AUX / Headphone: Connect to the TV’s Headphone / Audio OUT. If needed, select Headphones / Audio Out in the TV settings and turn up the TV volume.

Using RCA: Use only the red and white ports labeled AUDIO OUT. Do not use AUDIO IN.

Reconnect Next Time

Turn on the transmitter.
Turn on Repose and wait a few seconds for reconnection.

Something Doesn’t Look Right?

Repose Does Not Connect

Make sure both devices are in pairing mode at the same time. Repose must show flashing RED & BLUE. Turn Bluetooth off on nearby phones, tablets, or computers previously connected to Repose, then try again.

Repose Keeps Connecting to My Phone

Turn Bluetooth off on the phone. Then press and hold PAIR on Repose until it flashes RED & BLUE. Put the transmitter into pairing mode again and keep both devices close together.

No Sound in a Streaming App

If regular TV audio works but a streaming app does not, check the streaming device or app audio settings.
