Repose – Connect with a Phone

Follow these steps to connect your Repose earbuds to a phone using Bluetooth.

Step 1 – Turn ON the Repose

Slide the power switch to ON.

Step 2 – Enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode

Press and hold the PAIR button. Release when the indicator starts:

Flashing RED & BLUE = Pairing mode

Important: Simply turning the Repose ON is not enough. Make sure the indicator is flashing RED & BLUE.

Step 3 – Connect from Your Phone

Open Settings → Bluetooth on your phone.
Turn Bluetooth ON.
Select Avantree Repose.

Your Repose is now ready to use with your phone.

Reconnect Next Time

You normally do not need to pair again. Turn ON the Repose and your phone’s Bluetooth. The earbuds should reconnect automatically to the last device used.

Something Doesn’t Look Right?

Avantree Repose Does Not Appear on My Phone

Check that the Repose indicator is flashing RED & BLUE. If it is not, press and hold PAIR until the indicator starts flashing, then search again in your phone’s Bluetooth list.

Repose Keeps Connecting to Another Device

Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, or other devices that used the Repose before. Then put the Repose back into flashing RED & BLUE pairing mode and connect from your phone.

Avantree Repose Appears but Will Not Connect

Find Avantree Repose in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
Select Forget or Remove.
Turn Bluetooth OFF and back ON.
Put the Repose into flashing RED & BLUE pairing mode.
Select Avantree Repose again.
