Repose – How to Factory Reset / Clear Pairing History

Reset Repose if it has trouble pairing or reconnecting to a Bluetooth device.

Important: A factory reset clears Repose’s saved Bluetooth connections. You will need to pair it again afterward.

Step 1 – Turn On Repose

Slide the power switch to ON.

BLUE = Powered on

Step 2 – Reset Repose

With Repose turned on, press and hold + and – together for about 5 seconds.

PINK for about 2 seconds = Reset successful

After the reset, Repose automatically enters pairing mode:

Flashing RED & BLUE = Ready to pair

Step 3 – Remove the Old Bluetooth Connection

If reconnecting Repose to a phone, tablet, computer, or TV:

Open the device’s Bluetooth Settings.
Find Avantree Repose.
Select Forget, Remove, or Unpair.
Turn Bluetooth off and back on.

Step 4 – Pair Repose Again

Make sure Repose is still flashing RED & BLUE.

Open Bluetooth Settings on the device you want to use.
Select Avantree Repose.
Wait for the connection to complete.

Something Doesn’t Look Right?

No PINK Light During Reset

Make sure Repose is on, then press and hold + and – together for the full 5 seconds. A PINK light for about 2 seconds confirms the reset.

RED & BLUE Starts Flashing After Reset

This is normal. Flashing RED & BLUE means the reset is complete and Repose is ready to pair again.

Repose Still Connects to an Old Device

Turn Bluetooth off on nearby devices that used Repose before. Then make sure Repose is flashing RED & BLUE and pair it with the device you want to use.
