Relay Factory Reset
Reset Your Avantree Relay
Clear saved Bluetooth connections and pair again.
Before You Reset
A factory reset clears the Relay's saved Bluetooth connections.
- Turn the Relay off. Wait 5–10 seconds, then turn it on.
- Turn Bluetooth off on nearby devices that your headphones normally connect to.
- Keep the Relay and headphones close together.
Factory Reset the Relay
Make sure the Relay is on. Press and hold the + and − buttons together for 6 seconds.

Both lights stay on for about 3 seconds.
Reset Complete
Red and blue flash alternately
The Relay is ready to pair.
Does the LED look pink? This is normal. The red and blue lights are on at the same time.
Put Your Headphones in Pairing Mode
Put your headphones into Bluetooth pairing mode. Simply turning them on may not be enough.
Tip: Turn Bluetooth off on nearby phones, tablets, computers, and TVs while pairing.
Wait for the Devices to Connect
Keep the Relay and headphones close together while they connect.
Red and blue flash alternately
The Relay is still pairing.
Solid blue
The connection is successful.
Still Won't Pair?
Clear the Bluetooth pairing history on your headphones. Turn Bluetooth off on nearby devices. Then put the headphones back into pairing mode.

- Your headphone or earbud brand and model
- What the Relay LED is showing
- Whether the Relay reaches solid blue
