HT41899 Plus - Fix No Sound

Before You Start: Turn on the transmitter and headphones. Play a TV channel or video with sound.

Step 1 – Check the Headphone Connection

  1. Turn on the black Headphone 1 first.
  2. Wait until it connects, then turn on the red Headphone 2.
  3. Check the headphone LED indicators.
Solid Blue – Connected.
Flashing Red & Blue – Pairing mode.

Headphones not connected? Follow the pairing guide. Connect and lock Headphone 1 before connecting Headphone 2.

Step 2 – Check the TV Audio Connection

  1. Make sure the TV audio cable is firmly connected at both ends.
  2. Connect the TV's audio OUT to the transmitter's INPUT.
  3. Set the transmitter input to match your cable: OPT or AUX.

Step 3 – Check TV Audio Settings

Open the connection you are using:

Optical Cable
  1. Connect TV Optical OUT to transmitter OPT IN.
  2. Set TV Sound Output to Optical / Digital Audio Out.
  3. Set Digital Audio Format to PCM / Stereo.
  4. Set the transmitter input to OPT.

AUX / 3.5 mm
  1. Connect TV Headphone / Audio OUT to transmitter AUX IN.
  2. Set TV Sound Output to Headphones Out, if available.
  3. Increase the TV volume.
  4. Set the transmitter input to AUX.
Step 4 – Check the TV Audio Signal

While the TV is playing, check the transmitter's AUX / OPT audio signal indicator.

Solid / Steady AUX/OPT – TV audio detected.

Flashing / No Signal AUX/OPT – Check the cable, TV sound output, and PCM setting.

Step 5 – Check the Volume
  1. Increase the volume on each headphone.
  2. Make sure the TV program is not muted.
  3. Try another TV channel or video.
No Sound on Certain Apps or Cable Box?

Set the TV or streaming device's digital audio format to PCM / Stereo.

Still No Sound? Restart
  1. Turn off the transmitter and both headphones.
  2. Reconnect the TV audio cable.
  3. Turn on the transmitter, then Headphone 1.
  4. Once connected, turn on Headphone 2 and test again.
