Before You Start: No sound may be caused by disconnected headphones, incorrect TV audio settings, or a loose cable. Turn on the HT41899 Plus transmitter and headphones, then play a TV channel or video with sound.
Step 1 – Check the Headphone Connection
Turn on the black headphones (Headphone 1) first. Once connected, turn on the red headphones (Headphone 2). Check their connection lights.
Headphones Not Connected? Turn off Bluetooth on nearby previously paired devices, then follow the pairing and locking guide below.
HT41899 – Pair & Lock Headphones →Step 2 – Check the TV Audio Signal & Settings
Play TV audio and check the transmitter's AUX / OPT audio signal indicator.
Why PCM? The transmitter requires stereo audio. Dolby or other surround-sound formats may cause no sound. For Optical connections, select PCM / Stereo.
Choose your TV connection type and follow the matching instructions.
Step 3 – Check Connections, Volume & Restart
- Check that the audio cable is securely connected to the TV and transmitter. Use only one cable (Optical or AUX).
- Increase the headphone volume using the + button.
- Make sure the TV is not muted. Try another TV channel or video.
- Try a NEW audio cable of the same type.
- Still no sound? Turn off the transmitter and headphones, reconnect the audio cable, then turn on the transmitter followed by the headphones. Wait for the solid blue connection light and test again.
No Sound on Certain Apps or Cable Boxes? Set the TV or streaming device's audio format to PCM / Stereo.
