AuraCoil – Sound Is Too Quiet or Uneven – Avantree Support

If the sound is too quiet or one side sounds quieter than the other, check the neckloop position, AuraCoil volume, L / R balance, and your hearing device's T / MT listening level.

Check how the neckloop is positioned

Keep the complete AuraCoil neckloop around your neck and make sure it is positioned properly before adjusting the sound.

Then adjust the sound gradually Make small changes to the volume or balance and listen after each adjustment.

Adjust the Sound

Try these steps in order and stop when the volume sounds clear and balanced.

Position the complete neckloop around your neck

Make sure the complete AuraCoil neckloop is around your neck and positioned properly.

Check the neckloop first Keep the complete loop properly positioned around your neck while listening.

Gradually increase the AuraCoil volume

Use the VOLUME control on AuraCoil and increase it gradually until the audio reaches a comfortable level.

Increase gradually Make small volume adjustments instead of a large change all at once.

If one side is quieter, adjust the L / R balance

Move the L / R balance control slightly toward the quieter side.

Adjust only a little at a time Move the balance slightly toward the side that sounds quieter, then listen again.

Check the T / MT listening level

Check the T / MT listening level on your hearing aid or cochlear implant and adjust it if needed.

Check your hearing device If AuraCoil volume is already comfortable, adjust the T / MT listening level on your hearing device if needed.

Sound is clear and balanced

If the volume is comfortable and both sides sound balanced, you're all set.

Still Too Quiet or Uneven?

Check that the complete neckloop is properly positioned around your neck.
Gradually increase the VOLUME control on AuraCoil.
Check the T / MT listening level on your hearing aid or cochlear implant.

Only one side sounds quieter

Adjust the L / R balance control slightly toward the quieter side. Make a small adjustment, listen, and repeat only if needed.

Check the T / MT listening level on your hearing aid or cochlear implant and adjust it if needed.
