Connect Your Hearing Aids to the TV
If your hearing aids support Auracast, they can receive TV audio directly from the Opera Aura transmitter.

Connect Your Hearing Aids
Keep your hearing aids, phone, and transmitter nearby while connecting.
Turn On the Transmitter
Power on the Opera Aura transmitter and make sure it is connected to your TV.
Switch to Hearing Aids Mode
Press and hold the Headphones / Hearing Aids button on the back of the transmitter for 3 seconds.
Prepare Your Hearing Aids
Make sure your hearing aids are powered on and updated to the latest firmware. If your hearing aids use a mobile app, make sure the app is also up to date.
Open Your Hearing Aid Connection Method
Open your hearing aid manufacturer's app or a supported Android Auracast Assistant, then look for the option to find or join an Auracast broadcast.

Hearing Aids Cannot Find the Broadcast
- Confirm your exact hearing aid model supports Auracast using the Compatibility Checker.
- Make sure your hearing aid firmware and manufacturer's app are up to date.
- Confirm the Opera Aura transmitter is in Hearing Aids mode and the mode light is white.
- Keep your phone and hearing aids close to the transmitter.
- Open your hearing aid app or supported Android Auracast Assistant and search for the Auracast broadcast again.

Transmitter Shows an Orange Light
Orange indicates Headphone mode. Press and hold the Headphones / Hearing Aids button for 3 seconds to switch to Hearing Aids mode.
The mode light should change to white.
