Connect Another Pair

Connect another compatible Auracast headphone to the Opera Aura transmitter so more than one person can listen to the TV.

No traditional Bluetooth pairing is required.

Put the new headphones into Auracast search mode and keep them close to the transmitter until they connect.

Before You Start

Transmitter Is On

Make sure the Opera Aura transmitter is powered on.

TV Audio Is Playing

Confirm the original headphones can already hear the TV.

Check Compatibility

The new headphones must support Auracast.

Connect the New Headphones

Follow these steps for each compatible Auracast headphone you want to connect.

Turn On the Headphones

Power on the headphones you want to connect.

Start Auracast Search Mode

Press and hold the Play/Pause button until the headphone LED begins flashing orange.

Flashing orange = Searching for Auracast

Move Them Close to the Transmitter

Keep the headphones near the Opera Aura transmitter while they search for the TV broadcast.

Keep them close during connection

Confirm They Are Connected

The LED will turn solid orange once the headphones join the Auracast broadcast.

Solid orange = Connected to Auracast

Connection complete

Both listeners should now hear the same TV audio. Each person can adjust the volume on their own headphones.

Connecting More Than Two?

Repeat the same process for any other compatible Auracast headphones you want to use with the TV broadcast.

Having Trouble Connecting?

LED Does Not Flash Orange

Make sure the headphones are turned on.
Press and hold the Play/Pause button until the LED begins flashing orange.
Keep the headphones close to the Opera Aura transmitter.

LED Keeps Flashing Orange

Confirm the Opera Aura transmitter is powered on.
Confirm TV audio is already playing through the original headphones.
Move the new headphones closer to the transmitter.
Start Auracast search mode again.

Connection Is Unstable or Keeps Dropping

Nearby devices using the 2.4 GHz frequency may cause interference. This can include Wi-Fi routers, access points, and other wireless equipment.

Move the transmitter and headphones farther away from strong 2.4 GHz sources when possible, then try connecting again.

Using a Different Brand of Auracast Headphones?

The method for entering Auracast mode can vary by brand. Follow the headphone manufacturer's instructions to start Auracast search or broadcast-join mode, then keep the headphones close to the Opera Aura transmitter.
