HT5009 Plus - Use Headphone and Soundbar

You can pass your TV’s original audio through the HT5009 Plus transmitter to a soundbar or speaker while still using your headphones.

Quick Check

1.  Make sure your headphones are already working with the transmitter.

2.  Plug your soundbar/speaker system into the Bypass Output (optical or AUX) port of the transmitter

● Use the same connection type for both TV and soundbar

● OPTICAL IN ↔ OPTICAL OUT

● AUX IN ↔ AUX OUT

3.  Switch your soundbar/receiver to the matching input (Optical or AUX) and adjust its volume as needed.

Why It Sometimes Doesn’t Work

The sound system is usually on the wrong input or the cable isn’t fully connected.

💡 Tip: If you’re using an optical cable, your soundbar display should show something like “OPT” or “Digital In.
