Yes. Loop earbuds can stay connected to both — Auracast and your phone via Bluetooth at the same time.
This allows you to join Auracast broadcasts (e.g., from an Aura Loop transmitter) while still being connected to your phone so you can take calls or receive notifications.
And when you want to switch between Auracast audio and Bluetooth audio, you can do so quickly and easily — no re-pairing required.
1. Connect Earbuds in Auracast Mode
Make sure your Loop earbuds are connected to an Auracast broadcast (e.g., Aura Loop/ Aura Loop Dual).
2. Add Bluetooth Connection
1️⃣ While the Loop earbuds are in Auracast mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button for
3 seconds until the LED blinks Red & Blue.
2️⃣ On your Bluetooth device (TV/phone/PC), turn on Bluetooth.
3️⃣ Select Avantree Aura Loop from the list.
✅ Once connected, the earbuds will play audio from your Bluetooth device.
3. Switch Between Auracast and Bluetooth
To switch modes, simply press the Bluetooth button
once.
If both modes are connected, the earbuds auto-switch to the other source when the current one pauses (as long as the other is playing).
When switching from Auracast to Bluetooth, you might briefly hear no sound — just make sure your Bluetooth device is already playing audio.
💡 Tip: Both connections stay active, so you can easily toggle between Auracast and
Bluetooth anytime without re-pairing.
