How to Adjust Your Radio's Screen Brightness
Is the screen too bright or too dim? You can adjust the screen brightness using the Contrast setting.
Good to Know:
On your radio, Contrast controls the screen brightness.
Adjust the Screen Brightness

Open System Settings
Go to: System Settings → Contrast
The default setting is Contrast 10.

Adjust the Brightness
Use the buttons below to increase or decrease the brightness by 1 level.
SEEK > / ⏭
→
Make the screen brighter
< SEEK / ⏮
→
Make the screen dimmer
Maximum brightness: Contrast 20
Screen Still Looks Too Dim?
- Increase the Contrast setting several levels.
- Check the screen in a different lighting condition.
- Make sure you are changing Contrast, not the screen-on time setting.
Screen Turns Off Too Quickly?
This is a different setting.

Controls how long the screen stays lit.
Controls how long the screen stays lit.
If the brightness looks good but the screen turns off too quickly, adjust the screen-on time instead.
