You can now save your favorite radio stations for quick access in FM Radio mode and disable Repeat mode when using your SP850 as a Micro SD card player.
Follow these steps to update your device:
1. Prepare a Micro SD card (maximum 32GB) with no content on it.
2. Download [the DFU file] to your computer, unzip it, and transfer both files to the Micro SD card.
3. Turn on the SP850, then insert the Micro SD card into the slot until you hear a click.
4. The unit will automatically enter upgrade mode (LCD screen turns black, and you will hear a "Di Di Di" notification sound). The upgrade process will take approximately 10 seconds, after which the unit will restart automatically.
5. Turn off the device, remove the Micro SD card, and delete the DFU file from the card.
Once the update is complete:
1. A “Repeat Off” option will be available when using the SP850 as a Micro SD card player.
2. You’ll be able to save your favorite radio stations for quick access:
*Double-click the MENU/OK button to enter Auto-Search Mode. The device will scan and save all available radio stations. (This process may take around 2 minutes.)
*Once Auto-Search is complete, the unit will return to the first available station. Press the ⏭ button to scroll through and listen to the saved stations.
*If you find a station you like, long-press any number key (1–9) to assign it for quick access. The screen will display “Channel Saved”, indicated by a downward arrow inside a box next to the battery icon.
*The next time you use the device in FM Radio mode, simply press the corresponding number key to tune in directly to that saved station.
