SP850 - How to Save Favorite Radio Stations & Enable "Repeat Off" – Avantree Support

SP850 – Save Favorite FM Stations & Enable Repeat Off

Update your SP850 to save favorite FM stations and turn off music repeat in MicroSD mode.

For SP850 units before Batch T25F1 only. If your SP850 is Batch T25F1 or later, you do not need this update.

Find Your Batch Number

Step 1 – Prepare the MicroSD Card

Use an empty MicroSD card up to 32 GB.
Download the SP850 update file.
Unzip the downloaded file.
Copy both update files to the MicroSD card.

Step 2 – Update the SP850

Turn the SP850 ON.
Insert the MicroSD card until you hear a click.
Wait for the update to start automatically.

During the update:

The screen turns black.
You hear “Di Di Di.”
The update takes about 10 seconds, then the SP850 restarts automatically.

Do not turn OFF the SP850 or remove the MicroSD card during the update.

Step 3 – Remove the Update Files

After the SP850 restarts, turn it OFF.
Remove the MicroSD card.
Delete the update files from the card.

✅ Update complete.

Save Your Favorite FM Stations

Enter FM Radio mode.
Double-press MENU/OK to start Auto-Search.
Wait for the search to finish. This may take about 2 minutes.
Use ⏭ to find the station you want.
Press and hold a number button 1–9 to save it.

The screen will display “Channel Saved”, indicated by a downward arrow inside a box next to the battery icon.

The next time you use the device in FM Radio mode, simply press the corresponding number key to tune in directly to that saved station.

Turn Repeat OFF for MicroSD Music

Insert your MicroSD card and enter MicroSD mode.
Press MENU/OK once.
Select Repeat.
Select Repeat Off.

✅ Your music stops when playback reaches the end instead of repeating.

Something Doesn’t Look Right?

Update Does Not Start

Use a MicroSD card that is 32 GB or less.
Make sure you unzipped the downloaded file.
Make sure both update files are on the MicroSD card.
Turn the SP850 ON before inserting the card.

I Don’t See “Repeat Off”

Check your SP850 batch. If it is before T25F1, complete the firmware update first. Then use MicroSD Mode → MENU/OK → Repeat → Repeat Off.

My Favorite Station Was Not Saved

Tune to the station, then press and hold a number button from 1–9 until the screen shows Channel Saved. A quick press opens an already saved station; a long press saves the current station.
