Orbit Pro's pass-through (bypass) function lets you send TV audio to Bluetooth headphones and a wired soundbar or stereo receiver at the same time.
Pass-through only works when the input and output connections match.
Optical IN → Optical OUT or AUX IN → AUX OUT.
HDMI ARC is not supported for pass-through. If your TV is connected to Orbit Pro through HDMI ARC, this bypass setup will not work.
Optical Connection TV Optical OUT → Orbit Pro → Soundbar Optical IN
Slide the Orbit Pro's mode switch to TX or OFF, as appropriate for your use.
OFF: Use this position when you only need wired pass-through.
Connect an optical cable from the TV Optical OUT to the Orbit Pro's Optical INPUT.
Orbit Pro — OPTICAL INPUTUse an additional optical cable. Connect one end to the Orbit Pro's Optical OUTPUT and the other to the soundbar's Optical IN.

Your TV audio can now pass through Orbit Pro to your wired soundbar or stereo system. With Orbit Pro in TX mode and Bluetooth headphones connected, you can listen through both outputs.
Not Hearing Sound from Both Devices?
- Confirm that your TV and soundbar use matching connection types: Optical to Optical or AUX to AUX.
- Make sure the TV cable goes to the Orbit Pro's INPUT and the soundbar cable goes to its OUTPUT.
- Confirm that the soundbar is set to the correct input (Optical or AUX).
- If you want Bluetooth headphone audio, make sure Orbit Pro is in TX mode and the headphones are connected.
- If your TV uses Optical, check its digital audio output settings. Try PCM if the connected equipment requires it.
- If the TV is connected through HDMI ARC, switch to a supported matching Optical or AUX setup.
