AS9P – How to Factory Reset / Clear Pairing History
If your AS9P headphones will not connect or keep connecting to another device, follow these steps to reset them.
Important: A factory reset clears saved Bluetooth connections. You will need to pair your headphones again.
Step 1 – Turn ON the Headphones
- Slide the Power switch to ON.
- Make sure the headphones are turned on.
Step 2 – Reset the Headphones
- Find the + and − volume buttons on the headphones.
- Press and hold both buttons together for 10 seconds.
- Release when the LED turns PINK .
PINK
LED = Reset complete.
The headphones will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
RED and BLUE flashing alternately = Ready to pair.
Step 3 – Connect Your Headphones Again
- Turn OFF Bluetooth on nearby devices previously connected to the AS9P.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on the phone, TV, or computer you want to connect.
- Find and select Avantree AS9-P.
- Wait for the headphones to connect.
Solid BLUE
LED = Connected.
Using an Avantree Bluetooth Transmitter?
Put the transmitter into pairing mode and keep it close to the headphones until they connect.
Reset Not Working?
- Make sure the headphones are ON.
- Press the + and − buttons at the same time.
- Keep holding for the full 10 seconds, until the LED turns PINK .
- If the LED does not change, charge the headphones and try again.
