Ace T40 / HT4130 – How Do I Adjust the Earbud Volume?
If the sound is too loud or too quiet, adjust the volume directly from your Ace T40 earbuds.
Adjust the Volume on the Earbuds
🔊 Make It Louder
On the RIGHT (R) earbud, quickly press the main button TWICE.
🔉 Make It Quieter
On the LEFT (L) earbud, quickly press the main button TWICE.
Easy to Remember
R = Raise the volume
L = Lower the volume
Can I Use My TV Remote to Adjust the Volume?
This depends on how the HT4130 transmitter is connected to your TV.
Using AUX / 3.5 mm or RCA?
Yes. Your TV remote can normally adjust the volume.
- Play something on your TV.
- Increase the volume using your TV remote.
- If needed, also increase the volume by double-clicking the RIGHT (R) earbud.
Using OPTICAL / TOSLINK?
Your TV remote will normally not change the earbud volume when using the TV's Optical audio output.
Use the Ace T40 earbud controls to adjust the volume.
If pressing Volume + on the TV remote does not change the earbud volume, this is normally expected when using Optical.
Volume Still Too Low?
- Double-click the RIGHT (R) earbud several times to increase the volume.
- If using AUX or RCA, also turn up your TV volume.
- Play a different TV program or video and test again.
Important: Increase the volume gradually to a comfortable listening level.
