No Sound? Check These Two Things First
First confirm that the headphones are connected to the transmitter. Then check whether the transmitter is receiving sound from your TV.
If the headphones and transmitter are already connected, focus on the OPT or AUX indicator on the transmitter. It should be solid, not blinking.
Follow These Checks in Order
Stop when the sound returns.
Check the Headphone & Transmitter Connection
Both channel indicators should be solid and the same color.
Look at the channel indicator on the headphones and the corresponding channel indicator on the transmitter.
Use the channel select button on the transmitter and the channel switch on the headphones until both show the same channel color.
Pair the headphones with the Shift transmitter before continuing.

Look at the OPT or AUX indicator on the transmitter.
The transmitter needs to receive sound from your TV. Check the OPT or AUX indicator, depending on how your Shift is connected.
The transmitter is receiving sound from your TV.
The transmitter is not receiving the TV audio correctly. Continue with the checks below.
Fix the TV Audio Signal
Follow the instructions for the connection you are using.
Check the Indicator Again
The OPT or AUX indicator should now stay solid.
After adjusting the connection or TV settings, play audio on the TV and look at the transmitter again.
The transmitter is receiving sound from your TV. Test the headphones again.
The transmitter is still not receiving the TV audio correctly. Recheck the TV's audio output setting and cable connection.
Still No Sound?
Tell our support team whether your headphone and transmitter channel indicators match, which cable you are using, and whether the OPT or AUX indicator is solid or blinking.
