Add More Headphones to Your Shift System

Pair additional Shift-Extra headphones with your Shift system so more people can listen to the same audio.

Add-On Headphones

Add additional compatible headphones to your Shift system for shared listening.

Add-On Transmitter

Add another compatible transmitter when you want to expand your Shift setup to another audio source.

Before You Start

Turn on the Shift transmitter and keep the new Shift-Extra headphones close to it while pairing.

Put the transmitter and new headphones into pairing mode.

Press and hold the ADD button on the Shift transmitter for 5 seconds.

What to look for: The ADD DEVICE indicator flashes blue.

Flashing Blue = Ready to Pair

Turn on the Shift-Extra headphones. Then slide and hold the power switch at PAIR for 5 seconds.

What to look for: The headphone indicator flashes blue.

Flashing Blue = Pairing Mode

Keep the new headphones close to the Shift transmitter while they connect.

New Headphones Indicator flashing blue

Once connected, the channel indicators on both the transmitter and the new headphones will be solid blue.

First-time pairing: New headphones initially connect through the blue channel.

The additional headphones can now receive audio from your Shift system. Repeat the same steps to add more headphones.

Want to switch to another transmitter afterward?

Once the headphones have been added, set the headphones to the same channel color as the transmitter you want to listen to.

Headphones Not Connecting?

Keep the new headphones close to the Shift transmitter.
Put the transmitter into pairing mode again by holding ADD for 5 seconds.
Put the new headphones into pairing mode again by holding the power switch at PAIR for 5 seconds.
Confirm that both pairing indicators are flashing blue at the same time, then wait for them to connect.
