Some Avantree products support firmware updates through the Avantree Firmware Updater on a Windows or Mac computer.

Firmware updates may include new features, performance improvements, bug fixes, connection stability improvements, or product-specific settings.

Note: Available firmware versions and updater functions may vary depending on the product model.

Step 1 – Go to the Firmware Update Page

Open the firmware update page for your specific product model on the Avantree website.

On the page, you can usually find:

• The latest recommended firmware version
• Firmware release notes
• Download links for Windows and macOS
• Basic update steps
• A detailed guide or video guide, if available

Step 2 – Download and Install the Avantree Firmware Updater

Download the correct version of the Avantree Firmware Updater for your computer:

• Download for Windows
• Download for macOS

After downloading, install the updater and open it on your computer.

Step 3 – Connect Your Device to the Computer

Connect your Avantree device to your computer using the included USB cable or a USB data cable.

For USB-C products:

• USB-C end → Device
• USB-A end → Computer

If the device is not detected, please try another USB data cable or another USB port on your computer.

Step 4 – Check the Current Firmware Version

Once the device is recognized by the Avantree Firmware Updater, the tool will show the current firmware version.

If a newer version is available, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Step 5 – Complete the Firmware Update

Follow the instructions shown in the updater app.

During the update:

• Do not unplug the device.
• Do not close the updater.
• Do not power off the device or computer.

Wait until the updater confirms that the update is complete.

Step 6 – Restart and Factory Reset the Device

After the firmware update is completed, please restart the device.

A factory reset is required after the firmware update to clear old pairing records and ensure the latest settings are applied correctly.

Product-Specific Features in the Firmware Updater

The Avantree Firmware Updater may offer different functions depending on the product category and model.

Some products only support firmware updates, while others also include advanced settings or customization options.

1. Transmitters

For Auracast transmitters, such as Oasis Aura, the Firmware Updater allows you to update the firmware and adjust advanced broadcast settings.

For example, Oasis Aura firmware V10.9.3 includes the following improvements:

• Improved sound quality and reduced audio distortion.
• Better compatibility with Auracast hearing aids.

2. Receivers

For Auracast receivers, such as AuraClip, the Firmware Updater can be used to update the firmware and improve receiver performance.

For example, AuraClip firmware V0.2.9 includes the following updates:

• Added support for synchronizing broadcast password changes from Avantree Tx devices.
• Set the default volume to 80%.
• Fixed several minor bugs.

3. Speakers

For Auracast speakers, such as Harmony A2 Solo, the Firmware Updater can be used to update the firmware and improve speaker performance.

For example, Harmony A2 Solo firmware V0.9.1 includes the following updates:

• Added support for synchronizing broadcast password changes from Avantree/Venucast Tx devices.
• Fixed a saved broadcast scanning issue.
