Update Your Avantree Firmware

Use the Avantree Firmware Updater on a Windows or Mac computer to install the latest firmware for supported products.

Before You Start

Important: Keep the device connected to the computer until the firmware update is completely finished.

Firmware Update Steps

Follow these steps in order.

Open the Firmware Page for Your Product

Find the firmware update page for your exact Avantree product model.

The product page will show the recommended firmware version, release notes, and any model-specific instructions.

Install the Avantree Firmware Updater

Download the version that matches your computer, install it, then open the updater.

Connect Your Avantree Device

Connect the device directly to your computer using a USB data cable.

For USB-C products, connect the USB-C end to the device and the USB-A end to the computer when applicable.

Device not detected?

Make sure the cable supports data transfer, not charging only.
Disconnect and reconnect the device.
Try another USB port on the computer.
Try another USB data cable.
Close and reopen the Avantree Firmware Updater.

Check and Update the Firmware

Once the device is detected, the updater will show its current firmware version.

If a newer version is available, follow the instructions shown in the updater to start the update.

Do not interrupt the update.

Do not unplug the device, close the Firmware Updater, or turn off the device or computer while the firmware is installing.

Restart and Factory Reset the Device

Wait until the Firmware Updater confirms that the update is complete, then restart your Avantree device.

A factory reset is required after the firmware update.

This clears old pairing records and helps ensure the latest settings are applied correctly. Follow the reset instructions for your specific product model.

Your device is ready to set up and use again after the factory reset.
