Loop – Connect to Auracast and a Phone at the Same Time
Yes. Your Loop earbuds can stay connected to an Auracast broadcast and a Bluetooth device at the same time.
Both connections stay active. You can switch between Auracast and Bluetooth without pairing again.
Step 1 – Connect to Auracast
Make sure your Loop earbuds are connected to the Auracast broadcast before adding the Bluetooth connection.
The earbuds must be in Auracast mode.
Flashing ORANGE = Searching for an Auracast broadcast
If the earbuds are flashing RED & BLUE, they are in regular Bluetooth pairing mode and will not join the Auracast broadcast. Put them into Auracast mode first.
Step 2 – Add the Bluetooth Connection
- While the earbuds are in Auracast mode, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
- Wait until the LED flashes red and blue.
Flashing RED & BLUE = Bluetooth pairing mode
- Open Bluetooth settings on your phone, TV, or computer.
- Select Avantree Aura Loop.
- Wait for the connection to complete. Solid BLUE = Connected
Connected: The earbuds can now play audio from your Bluetooth device.
Step 3 – Switch Between Auracast and Bluetooth
Press the button once to switch modes.
No sound after switching? Start playing audio on the device you want to hear. There may be a short pause when switching from Auracast to Bluetooth.
How Automatic Switching Works
If both sources are connected, the earbuds can switch to the other source when the current audio pauses and the other source is playing.
