ShareCast Solo – What Devices Work with Auracast?
ShareCast Solo can receive audio from an open Auracast broadcast.
Devices That Work
The broadcast must be open/public, with no password or encryption.
✓ Avantree Auracast transmitters
For example, the Audikast 4 and C82 Aura.
✓ Auracast-enabled Android phones
For example, compatible Samsung Galaxy S24 or S23 phones using the Assistant app.
✓ Public venue broadcasters
For example, Auracast broadcasts at a gym, church, museum, or other public venue.
What Does Not Work
- Encrypted or password-protected Auracast broadcasts
- iPhones — iOS does not currently support Auracast.
How Do I Know If the Speaker Is Receiving Auracast?
Solid ORANGE = Connected to an Auracast broadcast
Flashing ORANGE = Searching for an Auracast broadcast
