BLUETOOTH PAIRING
ShareCast – Pair HomeBuddy Speaker With a Phone
Put the HomeBuddy speaker in Bluetooth mode, then pair it from your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
Important: Your phone can pair with HomeBuddy only when the speaker is in Bluetooth mode.
Step 1 – Switch the Speaker to Bluetooth Mode
- Press and hold the ▶ and + buttons together for 3 seconds.
LED flashing BLUE : The speaker is now in Bluetooth mode.
Step 2 – Put the Speaker in Pairing Mode
After switching to Bluetooth mode, the speaker should enter pairing mode automatically.
LED flashing: RED and BLUE. The speaker is ready to pair.
If the LED does not flash RED and BLUE, press and hold the ▶ button until it flashes RED and BLUE.
Step 3 – Connect From Your Phone
- Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
- Look for the HomeBuddy / ShareCast speaker in the device list.
- Tap the speaker name to connect.
Something Doesn’t Look Right?
The Speaker Does Not Appear on My Phone
- Make sure the speaker LED is flashing RED and BLUE.
- Turn Bluetooth off, then back on, on your phone.
- Move your phone close to the speaker and search again.
The Speaker Connects but There Is No Sound
Check that HomeBuddy is selected as the audio output on your phone. Then increase both your phone volume and the speaker volume.
