Clear saved Bluetooth connections and put your DG80-Gaming back into pairing mode.
When Should I Reset the DG80-Gaming?
A factory reset clears the DG80-Gaming's saved Bluetooth pairing history and allows you to start pairing again.
Try a reset if the adapter is not pairing correctly, keeps reconnecting to an unwanted device, or you want to connect it to a different Bluetooth device.
Before You Start
- Make sure the DG80-Gaming is plugged in and powered.
- Turn Bluetooth off on nearby devices that your headphones or speaker may automatically connect to.
- If you plan to reconnect after the reset, keep your Bluetooth device nearby.
Plug In the DG80-Gaming
Make sure the DG80-Gaming is plugged into a powered USB port.
Enter Pairing Mode
Press and hold the Multi-Function Button for 2 seconds.
Pairing Mode
BLUE and WHITE flash alternately
The lights should alternate quickly.
Reset the DG80-Gaming
While the DG80-Gaming is in pairing mode, press the Multi-Function Button twice.
Resetting
BLUE + WHITE
The LEDs stay illuminated for about 5 seconds.
Reset Complete
BLUE and WHITE flash alternately
The DG80-Gaming automatically returns to pairing mode.
Reset successful: If the DG80-Gaming automatically returns to BLUE/WHITE alternating pairing mode, its previous pairing history has been cleared.
What Happens After the Reset?
The DG80-Gaming's previous Bluetooth pairing history is cleared and the adapter automatically enters pairing mode.
Put your headphones, earbuds, or Bluetooth speaker into Bluetooth pairing mode and keep the devices close together while they connect.
Reset Not Working?
- Make sure the DG80-Gaming is plugged in and powered.
- Before double-pressing the button, confirm the LED is already flashing BLUE and WHITE alternately.
- The reset command is a double press of the Multi-Function Button while the adapter is in pairing mode.
- After resetting, put your headphones or other Bluetooth device into its own pairing mode before trying to reconnect.
