How to Use Samsung Phone for Auracast Connection? – Avantree Support

Use your Android phone to connect to an Auracast broadcast

For Auracast connection, you can use either your device's app OR the Android Auracast Assistant feature.

Before you start

Auracast is supported on newer Android phones with Android 14+ and hardware that includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound platform (or similar).

Some known models include:

Samsung Galaxy S23 / S24 series
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 / Z Flip5
Google Pixel 8 / 8 Pro
Xiaomi 14 series in select regions

Connect using Samsung Auracast Assistant

Use Next to move through each screenshot.

Open your connected device settings Make sure your hearing aids, earbuds, or headphones are already connected to the Samsung phone. Open Settings → Connections → Bluetooth, then tap the gear icon next to the connected device.

Turn on LE Audio In the connected device settings, turn LE Audio ON.

Tap Listen to Auracast broadcast After LE Audio is enabled, tap Listen to Auracast broadcast.

Find the Avantree broadcast The Auracast screen will open. Make sure your Avantree transmitter is powered on and broadcasting, then look for its name under Available broadcasts.

Select the broadcast Tap the Avantree broadcast name you want to join.

Connected Once connected, audio from the Auracast broadcast will play through the hearing aids, earbuds, or headphones connected to your Samsung phone.
