SG188 – Factory Reset / Clear Pairing History
Reset your SG188 Bluetooth sunglasses if they are having trouble connecting to your phone or tablet.
Step 1 – Enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode
- Close both arms of your sunglasses.
- Open both arms to turn the SG188 ON.
- Wait for the LED to flash red and blue.

LED Not Flashing Red and Blue?
- Turn OFF Bluetooth on previously connected devices nearby.
- Close both arms of the sunglasses.
- Open both arms again and check the LED.
Step 2 – Reset Your SG188
- While the LED is flashing red and blue, quickly press the button 4 times.
- You will hear 2 beeps.
- The red and blue LEDs will stay ON together for approximately 2 seconds. The light may look pink.

Step 3 – Pair Your SG188 Again
- After the reset, the SG188 automatically enters pairing mode.
- Check that the LED is flashing red and blue again.
- Open Settings → Bluetooth on your phone or tablet.
- Select Avantree SG188 to reconnect.

Can't Connect? If your phone still shows an old SG188 connection, remove or forget that device from your Bluetooth list, then pair again.
