HF2039 – Part 2: Adjust Your TV Audio Settings

Set your TV's digital audio format to PCM so sound can play through your HF2039 headphones.

Important: Optical Connection Only

Follow this guide only if your HF2039 is connected to your TV using an Optical / TOSLINK / SPDIF cable.

Step 1 – Open Your TV's Sound Settings

1. Turn ON your TV and play a program.
2. Press the Settings or Menu button on your TV remote.
3. Go to Sound or Audio Settings.

Step 2 – Select Optical Audio Output

1. Find Sound Output or Audio Output.
2. Select Optical, Digital Audio Out, or External Audio System, depending on your TV.

Step 3 – Set the Audio Format to PCM

1. Find Digital Audio Format, Digital Audio Output, or SPDIF Format.
2. Select PCM or Stereo.

Step 4 – Test the Sound

1. Save your TV audio settings, if needed.
2. Play a TV program or video.
3. Check whether you can hear sound through your HF2039 headphones.
