D4169 – Power & Charging Guide

Learn how to power the Audikast transmitter and charge both pairs of headphones.

What's Included?

Audikast Transmitter: No built-in battery. Requires USB power.

AS9S Over-Ear Headphones: Rechargeable battery.

NB16 Neckband Headphones: Rechargeable battery.

Step 1 – Power the Audikast Transmitter

Important: The Audikast transmitter has no built-in battery. It must stay connected to USB power while in use.

Connect the supplied Micro-USB cable to the transmitter's DC IN port.
Connect the other end to your TV's USB port or a USB wall adapter (5V, 0.5A–2A).
Slide the transmitter's power switch to ON.

Transmitter Not Turning ON?

Try a different USB power source.
Try another Micro-USB cable.
Make sure the power switch is set to ON.

Step 2 – Charge the AS9S Over-Ear Headphones

Turn OFF the headphones.
Connect the Micro-USB charging cable to the headphones.
Connect the other end to a USB power source.
Check the LED light.

Solid RED – Charging

LED OFF – Fully charged

Charging Time: Approximately 3.5 hours

Battery Life: Up to 40 hours at approximately 60% volume

Quick Charge: 15 minutes provides up to 2 hours of use

How to Turn the AS9S ON / OFF

Older Version – Middle Silver Button

Press and hold the middle silver button to turn the headphones ON.
Press and hold the same button to turn them OFF.

Newer Version – Power Switch

Slide the power switch to ON.
Slide the switch to OFF when finished.

Step 3 – Charge the NB16 Neckband Headphones

Turn OFF the headphones.
Connect the Micro-USB charging cable.
Connect the other end to a USB power source.
Check the LED light.

Solid RED – Charging

LED OFF – Fully charged

Charging Time: Approximately 2.5 hours

Battery Life: Up to 20 hours at approximately 60% volume

Quick Charge: 15 minutes provides up to 3 hours of use

How to Turn the NB16 ON / OFF

Press and hold the middle button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the headphones ON.
Press and hold the same button for approximately 5 seconds to turn them OFF.

Step 4 – Headphones Not Charging?

Try a different USB charging cable.
Connect to another USB power source.
Check that the charging cable is fully inserted.
If the LED stays OFF, disconnect the cable, turn the headphones ON, and check whether they have already charged.
