All of the Avantree TV headphones sets are "FACTORY LOCKED" before shipping. This means that as soon as they're turned on, they should automatically connect with each other and show Solid Blue on the headphones. There's NO need to pair them each time you want to use them.
If they still fail to connect, please follow the steps below to RECONNECT and LOCK them together again.
Note: During this procedure, please use another power source to power up the transmitter instead of using the TV's USB port. After that, temporarily keep your TV turned off. This is because Smart TVs often interfere with the paring process.
1. Get the Avantree Audikast Plus transmitter into Pairing Mode
· Connect the Audikast Plus to a power source and turn it on.
· Press & Hold the “A”/”1” button until you see the Bluetooth indicator flashing RED & BLUE.
2. Get the Headphones into Pairing Mode.
· Make sure the headphones turned OFF.
· For Batches before T22F1 (How to find the batch no.): Press & Hold the middle button on the headphones until you see the LED indicator flashing RED & BLUE. Batches T22F1 and after: Slide the power switch to the "pair" position and hold it there for 2 seconds until the LED indicator begins flashing RED & BLUE; you will also hear the voice prompt say "Pairing" if you have voice prompts on.
3. Wait for them to Connect. Once connected, you will see "FS" and "A"/"1" turn solid on the transmitter. The headphone will turn solid BLUE.
4. Lock them up again - Press & hold the "A"/"1" button on the transmitter for about 10 seconds until the "A"/"1" indicator turns PINK for a couple seconds. Now, the transmitter and the headphones are LOCKED and will always link to each other once turned on.
