Phones, tablets, computers, Smart TVs, and other Bluetooth devices can interfere while the HT4189 is resetting and reconnecting.
Reset Both Parts of the HT4189
The HT4189 includes the Audikast Plus transmitter and AS9S headphones. Reset each device separately.
The original transmitter and headphones are factory paired and locked. Resetting clears pairing history with other devices, but does not remove the original factory lock.
Which buttons do I press?
Reset the transmitter first, then reset the headphones.
Press and hold both buttons together for 7 seconds.
Press and hold 1 / A and 2 / B together instead.
Press and hold both buttons together for 10 seconds.
Reset the Audikast Plus Transmitter
Do this first.
Make sure the Audikast Plus transmitter is powered on before starting the reset.
Both Bluetooth indicators will light up PINK and then turn off.
The Bluetooth indicator next to 1 / A will begin flashing red and blue.
Reset the AS9S Headphones
Reset the headphones after the transmitter.
Make sure the headphones are powered on before continuing.
The red and blue LEDs come on together, which appears pink. This confirms that the headphone pairing history has been cleared.
After the reset, the headphone LED automatically begins flashing red and blue alternately.
Reconnect the HT4189
Once both devices have been reset, turn them back on and allow them to reconnect automatically.
Power the Audikast Plus transmitter back on.
Wait about 5–10 seconds for them to reconnect.
Still Not Reconnecting?
If the transmitter and headphones do not reconnect automatically, manually pair, connect, and lock them together again.
