Cyclone – How to Use the Different Modes
Your Cyclone can play audio through Bluetooth, an AUX cable, or a Micro SD card.
How to switch modes: Press the M button once to move between Bluetooth, AUX, and Micro SD card modes.
Bluetooth Mode
Use Bluetooth mode to play audio wirelessly from a phone, tablet, computer, or other Bluetooth device.
- Turn on the Cyclone.
- Press the M button until you hear “Bluetooth mode.”
- Open Bluetooth settings on your device and select Avantree Cyclone.
AUX Mode
Use AUX mode to play audio from a device with a 3.5 mm headphone or audio output port.
- Connect the included 3.5 mm AUX cable to the Cyclone’s AUX port.
- Connect the other end to your audio device.
- Turn on the Cyclone and start playing audio from your device.
The Cyclone switches to AUX mode when an AUX cable is connected.
Micro SD Card Mode
Use Micro SD card mode to play music saved directly on a Micro SD card.
- Insert a Micro SD card into the Cyclone’s card slot.
- Turn on the Cyclone.
- Wait about 30–40 seconds while the Cyclone reads the card.
Micro SD card requirements:
- Maximum card size: 32 GB
- Supported music formats: MP3 and WAV
The Cyclone Is Not Playing the Expected Audio
- Press the M button once to change to the next mode.
- Listen for the mode announcement.
- Check that your AUX cable or Micro SD card is fully connected, if you are using one.
- Start audio playback again from your connected device or Micro SD card.
