BLUETOOTH SETUP
Cyclone – Use with a Phone or Tablet
Connect your Cyclone speaker to a phone or tablet using Bluetooth.
Step 1 – Put the Cyclone in Pairing Mode
- Start with the Cyclone turned OFF.
- Press and hold the Power button until the LED flashes BLUE.
Flashing BLUE = Bluetooth pairing mode. You may hear “Bluetooth mode” or “Pairing.”
Step 2 – Connect Your Phone or Tablet
- Open Settings on your phone or tablet.
- Open Bluetooth and make sure it is turned on.
- Select Avantree Cyclone from the available devices.
The Cyclone is ready to use when Avantree Cyclone shows as connected in your phone or tablet’s Bluetooth settings.
Avantree Cyclone Does Not Appear
- Make sure the Cyclone LED is flashing BLUE.
- If needed, turn the Cyclone off and repeat Step 1.
- Move your phone or tablet closer to the Cyclone.
- Turn Bluetooth off, then back on again, on your phone or tablet.
The Cyclone Is in the Wrong Mode
Press the M button once to switch modes. Listen for the voice prompt “Bluetooth mode”, then repeat Step 1.
