AcuEar C1 – Surrounding Sounds Are Too Loud
The AcuEar C1 amplifies voices and surrounding sounds. If background sounds are uncomfortable, adjust the listening mode and volume.
Step 1 – Try Noise Reduction
Press the EQ / Listening Mode button to cycle through the three modes:
Amplifies surrounding sounds normally.
Reduces background noise. Try this mode first.
Provides stronger background-noise reduction.
Start with 2 Beeps. If surrounding sounds are still too loud, press the button again and try 3 Beeps.
Step 2 – Lower the Volume
If everything still sounds too loud, press the − button several times until the sound is comfortable.
Listening Mode changes how background sounds are handled.
Volume − makes all sounds quieter.
Step 3 – Test in a Quieter Place
Move away from loud sounds such as:
- TV speakers
- Fans or running water
- Busy conversations
- Traffic
- Kitchen appliances
Test again and find the most comfortable combination of Listening Mode and Volume.
Something Doesn't Look Right?
My Own Voice Sounds Too Loud
- Try Noise Reduction 1.
- If needed, try Noise Reduction 2.
- Press Volume − to lower the overall sound.
Background Noise Is Still Too Loud
Select 3 Beeps – Noise Reduction 2, press Volume − several times, and test again in a quieter place.
Everything Is Too Quiet
Press the + button gradually until voices sound comfortable and clear.
I Cannot Tell Which Mode Is Active
Press the EQ / Listening Mode button and count the beeps:
1 Beep = Normal
2 Beeps = Noise Reduction 1
3 Beeps = Noise Reduction 2
