If your Avantree Harmony Multi-Room Audio System is not charging or powering on correctly, follow these steps to troubleshoot both the wireless speakers and the transmitter.
1. Understand the Power Setup
The Avantree Harmony 2 system consists of two main parts:
●Speakers: Each speaker has a built-in rechargeable battery and needs to be charged via USB-C.
●Transmitter: The transmitter does not have a built-in battery — it must stay plugged into power (5V / 2A USB) to work.
If your speakers aren’t charging, or the transmitter won’t power on, verify their specific power requirements below.
2. Check the Power Source and Cables
●Use a 5V / 1-2A USB power adapter for both the speakers and the transmitter.
●Use the original Avantree USB-C cables
●Try plugging into a different wall adapter or USB port to rule out weak power output.
●Inspect cables for bends, frays, or loose connectors.
3. Inspect Charging Ports and Indicators
●Speakers:
○When charging: You’ll see the battery indicator lights start moving or filling up, showing that it is charging properly.
○When fully charged: The battery level indicator will stay fully lit and no longer move.
○No lights showing? Double-check the USB connection and try using a different USB-C cable or a 5V / 2A wall adapter to see if that fixes it.
●Transmitter:
○It should display a solid or flashing power LED when connected to USB power.
○If there’s no light, confirm the adapter is supplying power — the transmitter doesn’t hold a charge, so it won’t power up when unplugged.
