Whether your hearing aids will work with an Avantree transmitter depends on what Bluetooth technology they support. Older or unsupported aids may not connect directly. To make it easy, check the compatibility checker here.
Quick Check
● Check what Bluetooth your hearing aids support:
- Classic Bluetooth
- LE Audio / Auracast
- MFi / ASHA (not supported)
● If using classic Bluetooth models (e.g., Phonak Marvel, Paradise, Lumity, Unitron Discover, Kirkland Signature 9.0+), they can connect directly to many Avantree transmitters (like Audikast 3, Oasis Plus 2, Orbit Pro).
● If your aids support LE Audio / Auracast, use a newer Avantree LE Audio or Auracast transmitter (like C82 LEA, C82 Aura, Voyager, Audikast 4 Aura).
Compatibility and Limitation
● Hearing aids using classic Bluetooth connect only to older transmitters; they don’t support LE Audio or Auracast.
● Hearing aids with LE Audio / Auracast require a compatible Avantree transmitter or supported phone (for Auracast broadcasts).
● Aids that are MFi or ASHA only (standard hearing aid streaming protocols) are not supported by Avantree transmitters.
💡 Tip:
● Classic Bluetooth hearing aids can stream directly without needing LE Audio.
● LE Audio / Auracast hearing aids can use newer Avantree transmitters for low‑latency audio streaming.
● If unsure, check your hearing aid brand’s specs or contact support.
Still not working?
