BLUETOOTH SETUP
SG188 – Pair with Your Phone
Connect your SG188 sunglasses to your phone or another Bluetooth device.
Step 1 – Enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode
- Open both arms of the SG188 sunglasses.
- Wait a few seconds for Bluetooth pairing mode to start.
Flashing RED and BLUE = Bluetooth pairing mode.
Step 2 – Connect Your Phone
- Open Settings on your phone.
- Open Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
- Select Avantree SG188 from the available devices.
You will hear “Connected” when pairing is complete. The SG188 will also show as connected in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
Check the Connection Light
BLUE flashing occasionally = Bluetooth connected.
Avantree SG188 Does Not Appear
- Make sure the SG188 LED is flashing RED and BLUE.
- Turn off Bluetooth on a device that the SG188 used previously, or move it out of range.
- Turn Bluetooth off, then back on again, on your phone.
- Open the SG188 sunglasses again and wait about 10 seconds.
