Oasis: How to Factory Reset / Clear Pairing History

If your Avantree Oasis is having trouble connecting to a Bluetooth device, you can clear its pairing history and start a new connection.

Follow these 3 simple steps to reset the Bluetooth pairing history.

Important: TX and RX Reset Together

The Oasis transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) modes share the reset process. Clearing the pairing history in either mode also clears the pairing history for the other mode.

You only need to perform the reset once.

Power On Your Oasis

Turn on your Avantree Oasis. You may use either TX or RX mode.

Transmitter Mode Sends audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

Receiver Mode Receives audio from a Bluetooth source.

Either Mode Works. Resetting Oasis in TX mode also clears RX mode pairing history, and vice versa.

Press and Hold the + and − Buttons

Locate the + and − buttons on your Oasis.

Press and hold both buttons at the same time.

HOLD BOTH BUTTONS FOR 7 SECONDS

Do Not Release the Buttons Too Early

Keep holding the + and − buttons until you hear the voice prompt: "Pairing history cleared."

Confirm the Reset Was Successful

Once the reset is complete, Oasis will announce:

Expected Voice Prompt "Pairing history cleared"

This confirms that the pairing history has been cleared.

Oasis will then automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

Expected LED Indicator

Flashing Green / White indicates Bluetooth pairing mode.

Reset Complete!

Your Oasis pairing history has been cleared. You can now pair it with your Bluetooth device again.

Next Step: Put your Bluetooth headphones, speaker, or audio source into pairing mode and reconnect it to Oasis.

Does Resetting TX Mode Also Reset RX Mode?

Yes. The Oasis clears pairing history for both TX and RX modes together.

You only need to perform the reset once in either mode.

How Long Should I Hold the + and − Buttons?

Press and hold both buttons together for approximately 7 seconds.

Do not release the buttons until you hear "Pairing history cleared."

How Do I Know the Reset Was Successful?

Oasis will announce "Pairing history cleared".

It will then enter pairing mode, indicated by the TX LED flashing alternately green and white.

What Should I Do After Resetting Oasis?

Put the Bluetooth device you want to connect into pairing mode.

Then follow the normal Oasis Bluetooth pairing procedure to establish a new connection.

I Did Not Hear "Pairing History Cleared." What Should I Do?

Confirm that Oasis is powered on in either TX or RX mode.

Press and hold the + and − buttons simultaneously for 7 seconds, without releasing them early.
