HT4189B – Connect Headphones to a Phone, Tablet, or Computer

Use your HT4189B headphones independently without the TV transmitter.

Can I Use These Headphones with My Phone?

Yes! Switch your headphones to PHONE mode to connect directly to a phone, tablet, or computer using Bluetooth.

Before You Start

Turn OFF your TV and turn OFF Bluetooth on other nearby phones, tablets, and computers.

Find the TV / OFF / PHONE switch on your headphones. Slide it from OFF to PHONE.

Press and hold the middle button (between the + and − buttons) until the LED flashes RED and BLUE . You will hear "Pairing."

Connection Successful: The headphone LED turns Solid BLUE and you will hear "Connected."

How to Reconnect Next Time

Slide the headphone switch to PHONE.
Turn ON Bluetooth on your phone, tablet, or computer.
Select Avantree AS9 B in Bluetooth Settings if it does not connect automatically.

Headphones Not Showing in Bluetooth Settings?

Make sure the headphone switch is set to PHONE, not TV.
Press and hold the middle button until the LED flashes RED and BLUE.
Turn OFF Bluetooth on other nearby devices that may already be connected.
Turn Bluetooth OFF and back ON on your phone, tablet, or computer, then search again for Avantree AS9 B.
