When the microphone is activated, the system switches to the Hands-Free Profile (HFP), which prioritizes voice over sound quality. As a result, audio is transmitted in a lower-quality, mono format instead of stereo, significantly reducing the richness and depth of game sounds.

Classic Bluetooth can handle either high-quality audio streaming or voice transmission, but not both simultaneously at high quality. This is due to bandwidth limitations and the need for a simpler codec when both the microphone and speakers are active.
