Voyager - How to Pair the Voyager with my Auracast headphones?

Step 1: Activate Auracast™ Mode

• Switch Voyager to Auracast mode by switching button to position.

Step 2: Connect to an Audio Source

• Plug the Voyager into your audio source (e.g., TV, PC) and start playback.

• For PCs with existing Bluetooth dongles, ensure the audio output is set to the headphone jack or speaker output.​

Step 3: Pairing Methods

A. Direct Connection

• Devices like the Avantree HomeBuddy can automatically connect to the Voyager when both are in Auracast™ mode and within close proximity.

• The HomeBuddy's LED will turn solid white upon successful connection.

B. Connect with Phone Assistant

Some devices require a phone with Auracast Assistant function (eg., Galaxy S24 phone) to act as a bridge for connection.

• Pair your headphones with the smartphone via Bluetooth.

• Switch the phone's Bluetooth connection to "LE Audio."

• In the Bluetooth settings, select "Avantree Voyager" (note the unique four-digit suffix identifying the broadcast).

C. Connect with APP Assistant

Certain devices use their dedicated app to establish and manage the connection with the Auracast adapter.

Let's take our Avantree app as an example:

• Pair your headphones with your smartphone via Bluetooth.

• Open the Avantree app and follow the in-app instructions to connect to "Avantree Voyager."
