Sony TV Audio Setting

If you are unsure how to find the PCM settings on your Sony TV, you can find it in your TV's User Manual.

Step 1: Search for the User Manual online by entering your TV’s brand and model number on Google. For example, type 'Sony KD43X77L manual' to search.

Step 2: Scroll down until you can see "Help Guide (Web manual)" and click on it

Step 3: Next, click "Using the TV with Other Devices" and select "Audio System", then click "Adjusting an Audio System" 

Step 5: Adjusting an audio system screen will guide you where to find the PCM setting

 Using your Sony remote, press the (Quick Settings) button and look for [Settings] - then select [Display & Sound] - select [Audio Output] - select [Speakers] and change it to [Audio system].

After you changed it to Audio System, go back to the previous menu under [Audio Output] and this time, select [Digital Audio Out] and change this to [PCM]
