Step 1. Understand your TV / Audio Source Audio Output Options.
Note 1.1 Valid RCA port must labeled "Audio OUT"
Step 2. Connect the Transmitter to a Power Source
1. Plug the provided USB cable into the DC IN port of the transmitter.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a suitable power source. You can use either:
- Your TV's USB port (recommended for automatic on/off syncing with your TV)
- A standard USB power adapter (5V, 0.5A - 2A), such as a cellphone charger
Note: Most people have a spare USB power adapter at home, so it is not included in the package. If you need one, we’re happy to provide a US, EU, or UK adapter free of charge. Just send an email request to support@avantree.com.
Step 3. Connect the Transmitter to TV / Audio Source via Audio Cable
Option 1. Digital Optical (a.k.a SPDIF or TOSLINK) Connection - (Recommended!)
Option 2. 3.5mm AUX (a.k.a. HEADPHONES Jack)
Option 3. Red / White RCA Audio OUT(RCA adapter not included)
