Whether you can output sound simultaneously through your TV speakers and headphones depends on your TV model. Here's how to check and configure it:
Samsung TVs
Look for Simultaneous Optical Output or Multi-Output Audio in your sound settings.
Simultaneous Optical Output: The device connected via optical always outputs sound.
⚠️Do not select "Receiver (Optical)" as the output device.
Multi-Output Audio: Enable both your TV speakers and Bluetooth devices at the same time. When this function is active, you can set the volume of your Bluetooth devices to be louder than that of your TV speakers.
LG TVs
Enable Simultaneous Sound Out by setting the output to:
Optical Out Device + TV Speaker: Sound can be heard simultaneously through Internal TV Speaker and external audio devices connected to the OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port.
Bluetooth Device + TV Speaker: The TV speaker and Bluetooth speakers can output sound simultaneously.
Sony TVs
Look for Dual Audio Output in your sound settings to enable simultaneous playback.
If your TV doesn’t support these features, here are some workarounds:
•Use a dual-headphone system like the Avantree Duet, HT41899 Plus 2, or HT41866-Q.
You can also add a second headphone to existing sets like the Opera Plus, HT5009 Plus, Crescendo 3D, or Crescendo Me.
•Use a transmitter with bypass function, such as the Avantree Oasis Plus 2 or Orbit Pro.
•Use an HDMI ARC Audio Extractor Adapter, such as the Avantree HAX06.
💡 Tip: For detailed instructions, consult your TV’s user manual or contact the manufacturer.
