HT4186 - Troubleshooting - Fail to reconnect / Can't pair

The transmitter and headphone in HT4186 set is LOCKED to each other, they should auto reconnect once both devices are powered on with both the transmitter and the headphone showing SOLID BLUE.

If they fail to reconnect, Turn both transmitter and headphones off. Then turn both of them back on again, put them next to each other to see if the LED light on the headphone and the Bluetooth symbol next to A button turn solid blue or not. If both are solid blue, this is means the headphone and the transmitter is connected. If not, give the power button on the headphones a click, or a click on the A button on the transmitter. This action will make the transmitter and the headphone actively seeking each other out. Put them next to each other, wait for the LED light and the Bluetooth symbol next to A button to turn solid blue.

 

If they still fail to reconnect, please try below steps:

1. Clear paired history of the transmitter and headphone

2. Wait for 5-10 sec, they will auto-reconnect.  You will see SOLID BLUE light both on transmitter and headphone and hear "Your device is connected" from headphone. 

3. Now you can LOCK the connection between the headphones and transmitter. This ensures they auto-reconnect each time they are powered on.

  • Once the 2 devices are connected, press A for 10 seconds, until you find the 1.pngclose to A flashes RED and BLUE at the same time ( look like PINK) for 2 seconds. Now, they are locked.

    I just read that the HT4186 has a 24 nonths warranty. I bought it from Amazon on 01/27/2019.
    I spen NINE hours, trying to get it to work. No success. Barbara E. Shaw
