The transmitter and the headphones in Ensemble/HT5150 set are pre-paired and LOCKED with each other. The factory reset function will clear the pairing history with other devices, but the original set still remains paired and locked. If you used them separately with another device, and later found that Ensemble/HT5150 will not auto-reconnect with each other, you may need to do the reset.
Very Important: turn other devices' Bluetooth off before resetting to avoid interference.
The Ensemble/HT5150 set consists of 2 parts: The Transmitter, and the AS50 Headphones. Each needs to be reset separately.
Factory Reset the Transmitter
Method 1: Power ON. Press and hold the MFB button for 5 seconds, the LED indicator starts flashing RED & BLUE. Then DOUBLE click the MFB button to clear all paired history of the transmitter.
Once this is done, the transmitter will re-enter Reconnecting mode, as indicated by the LED flashing BLUE quickly.
Turn the transmitter OFF.
Method 2: Use a little screwdriver or another long and narrow tool to push the AUX pole in the transmitter. Insert the screwdriver into the AUX port on the back of the transmitter until you reach the end. Press and hold the pole at the end until the LED indicator turns PINK, and then starts flashing RED & BLUE.
Factory Reset the AS50 Headphones
After turning on, press and hold both “+” and “-” for 10 seconds until the red and blue LEDs are BOTH on for 2 seconds (looks PINK) - now all the paired history of the headphones is cleared. It then enters pairing mode automatically with the LED flashing alternately red and blue.
Turn the headphone OFF.
Then turn both the transmitter and the headphone on. Wait for 5-10 sec, the transmitter and headphones will auto-reconnect. You will see SOLID blue light both on transmitter and headphone and hear "Connected" from headphones.
In case they fail to reconnect, you might need manually Re-pair, Connect, and Lock the headphone and transmitter base
