☆ How to use the ambient (hearing aid) mode of HT381?

The HT381 supports "Ambient" Mode. The Ambient Mode basically acts like a hearing aid - it allows the user to hear his/her surroundings through the earphone or the receiver's built-in microphone.

To activate this feature, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Make sure that the earphones (neck-loop receiver) is turned ON.

Flip the power switch on the receiver to "ON" position. The LED indicator on the receiver will either start flashing GREEN (if the transmitter dock is OFF) or turn SOLID GREEN (if the transmitter dock is ON.)

Step 2: Press the Ambient Button on the receiver.

You'll hear 2 "beeps" through the earphones, and the LED indicator on the receiver will turn SOLID RED.


And now you're good to go! If you'd like to switch back to regular mode, simply press the Ambient Button again.
