The headphones and the transmitter in the Medley 6018 set are "factory locked." This means that they should automatically connect with each other right out of the box (with both devices turned on, of course.)
If they don't, OR if you have a replacement headphone, OR if you want to use another pair of Bluetooth headphone with the Medley base, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot.
Step 1: Clear the pairing history of the headphones.
After turning on, press and hold both “+” and “-” for 7 seconds until the red and blue LEDs are BOTH on for 2 seconds (looks PINK) and you can hear"DU DU"- now all the paired history of the headphones is cleared. It then enters pairing mode automatically with the LED flashing alternately red and blue.
Step 2: Turn on the transmitter and get the transmitter into pairing mode.
Slide the power button to "Pair" icon position for 2 seconds, LED indicator on the transmitter base will start flashing RED & BLUE.
Give it a few seconds; the headphone should reconnect to the transmitter dock. Once connected, the LED indicator on both devices will be SOLID BLUE.
Step 3: Lock them together again.
After the headphone is connected to the transmitter, press and hold the LOCK button on the transmitter for 5S until the RED and BLUE LEDs are on SIMULTANEOUSLY for 5 seconds (may look PINK) to LOCK them. Once locked, the LED indicator on the transmitter base will turn SOLID BLUE again.
Now they are locked, each time you turn on them, the transmitter will always auto connect to this headphones.
